I hope that whatever you are searching for will find you, too. Often times, I find myself avoiding major life changes, yet wanting it so desperately. If you want change, you have to do something different. This is me putting myself out there and hoping that in someway my life will be different in an incredible way.
My friend Amy and I are always on the search for something. An opportunity or a self realization. Open minded and willing to travel to find this thing that we can't put our finger on. We will brake for thrift stores and church signs (we are only a few photos shy of a calendar.) With the mindset if I put my self out there, whatever it is will find me. I need an opportunity for some magic. Recently, I have created an ad on craigslist titled "Modern Day Mary Poppins" and posted it to four major US cities; in hopes that something enchanting will find me, maybe some sort of Eloise at the Plaza gig. Here is a link to my craigslist ad if you are in need of giggles: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/res/4894626762.html

In high school, I owned a graphic tee that stated "kindness can change the world," and Maggie White quoted me in the school newspaper. I truly believe kindness can change the world. I'm thankful for the people that God has placed in my life. People that showed me kindness, invested in my life, and watered my soul. Today, I ate cake and started a two person book club with my really FUN niece. She's a freshman in high school and a wise lady. She said " ya know... Not everyone has a cool aunt like you " & then, we rode around listening to our thrift store treasure, Dixie Chicks- Wide Open Spaces album. I think those are the kind of moments that change the world. Spending time with people you love and letting them know they matter. Thanks Maggie White for putting my face in the newspaper. "We do not believe in ourselves until someone reveals that deep inside of us something is valuable, worth listening to, worthy of our trust, sacred to our touch. Once we believe in ourselves we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight or any experience that reveals the human spirit." - e.e. cummings |
