This 4th of July, I celebrated with my favorite people. The day was filled with porch parties, neighborhood parades, popsicles, fireworks at fairpark, cookouts, big dogs, watermelon, and swimming. As long as I live, I will never forget these fond memories celebrating the 4th of July here in the south. The independence of our country brings our communities together to celebrate under one big sky. I can not imagine spending my day any other way. I am so blessed to have such a good group of friends to celebrate life with. There is so much to love here in this city. It wasn't the parade, the fireworks, the swimming pool, or the watermelon that made my fourth of July so incredible.. It was the people that share their life with me. The people here welcome you into their homes and feed you. They open up their swimming pools, they fire up their grills, they share their patio furniture and ceiling fans. We shoot those fireworks into the night sky and we remember how blessed we are to be free.
